T-shirt Design Idea From Adobe Illustrator.

The Black Sun is a crime syndicate in the fictional universe known as Star Wars. I appropriated this symbol into Adobe Illustrator and traced it with the pen tool. This action caused the entire image to be cover and did not include a white ring inside. I then created a a circle with a black ring and a white center and proceeded to switch the colors. The result was a white ring and black circle inside. This was placed inside the pen tools image. In addition the pen tool was used to create two triangles of opposite angles for the top of the symbol. There needed to be white triangles beneath the black ones in order for the symbol to look like its original. The two images shown are the original image from online and mine respectively. The adobe illustrator one is more geometric due to its ability to straighten lines out. I think it is an interesting prospect to change the color of the center sun to a different shade of black. I also think it is worth putting the symbol on a polo shirt to contrast a high end shirt with crime. The only problem is that the vinyl cutter is having trouble printing. The image might have too many layers for the machine and does not know what to cut. I might have to look at the design of the image again or the blade in the vinyl cutter might be at the wrong setting.
